
Sylvester Stallone is an American actor who is very famous because of the Rocky film series. His full name is Sylvester Enzio Stallone. He was born in Manhattan’s Hell’s Kitchen, also known as Clinton.
Sylvester’s father, Francesco Stallone Sr. was a hairdresser & beautician and his mother Jacqueline Stallone was an astrologer & dancer who also promoted women’s wrestling.
During Sylvester’s birth, his mother had a lot of complications in childbirth. During that time, doctors accidentally broke a vein of Sylvester, due to which some parts of the face of his lower left side were paralyzed.
Due to this accident, he had to go through a lot of trouble as a child. There was some flaw in his look and speech too.

After that, he studied for two years at the American College of Switzerland. After that came back to the US and studied drama at the University of Miami. Along with his studies, he gave some stage performances by the name of Sylvester E. Stallone.
After his studies, Sylvester spent a few years as a struggling actor. But finally, in 1974 he got entry in Hollywood. He played the role of Stanley Rosiello in The Lords of Flatbush which was highly praised.
After this, he played a side character in many films. But Sylvester got his real identity from the Rocky film series. This film was released in 1976 in which he played the role of a boxer named Rocky Balboa. These film series made him quite famous and successful.
In 1977, Sylvester became the third actor to be nominated for two Academy Awards. Apart from this, his film Rocky was also included in the National Film Registry and props of the character of this film were also kept in the Smithsonian Museum.

After this, Sylvester Stallone did many famous action films such as First Blood, Rambo film series, Cobra, Tango and Cash, Cliffhanger and Demolition Man.
In the 1990s, Sylvester became one of Hollywood’s highest-paid actors due to his successful action films.
After the 2000s, he has done very few films. In which he did a successful film Escape Plan in 2013. And in the 2010s Stallone also launched a new film series, The Expendables.
Sylvester Stallone has also created a new record in Hollywood. He is the first actor in U.S. cinema history to have the box office number one film in six consecutive decades.
