Amanda Gorman is the youngest American poet and activist. Her age is only 23, she raises her voice on issues like black identity, feminism and climate change. Recently, she became very famous internationally after she read the poem “The Hill We Climb” at the 2021 inauguration of Joe Biden.

Amanda Gorman was born on March 7, 1998 in Los Angeles, U.S. She was raised by her mother Joan Wicks who was an English teacher.
