Who Is Friedrich Nietzsche ?

Friedrich Nietzsche’s full name is Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche. He was born on 15 October 1844 in Saxony Province, Roxin. Nietzsche’s father’s name was Karl Ludwig Nietzsche, a teacher and Lutheran clergyman. And his mother’s name was Franziska Oehler.

His father died in 1849 when Nietzsche was five years old. The family then moved to Naumburg in 1850. Where Nietzsche started study in the Domagnesium School. In 1858, he took for study at Schulfort, Germany’s leading Protestant boarding school.

In 1864 he moved to the University of Bonn for study in theology and classical philosophy. Nietzsche began practicing music and wrote many compositions. In 1865, he went to practice at the University of Leipzig.

In October 1867, he joined military service in a horse company. But due to a serious injury in March 1868, he left work and started his studies in Leipzig again.

In 1869 Nietzsche received his doctoral degree at the University of Leipzig without any examination on the strength of his published writings. And Bessel University appointed him professor of classical philosophy.

The war between Franco and Germanus began in August 1870. In the wartime, Nietzsche served as a volunteer medic. In 1871, he stepped down as Professor of Classical Philosophy.

In the same years, he became friends with Wagner. But Wagner exploited Christian motifs, thus ending the friendship between Nietzsche and Wagner. In 1872 Nietzsche published his first book, “The Birth of Tragedy from the Spirit of Music”.

From this book, he spread Socratic rationalism and optimism. In 1877 Nietzsche began living with his sister and his friend Peter Gast. Nietzsche wrote several books between 1879 to 1889.

After that he was seriously ill and half-blind, so he used to meet only a few people. Nietzsche published the Bitch Bible “Narrative to Sparch Zarathustra“.

Nietzsche then published the book “The Case of Wagner” in 1888. In January 1889 he lost his mental control when he was in Italy. Nietzsche spent the last years of his life in the same situation.

Nietzsche was partially paralyzed after two strokes in 1898 and 1899. In August 1900, he developed pneumonia. And a few days later he suffered a stroke and died on the afternoon of 25 August 1900.
