Carl Sagan was an American astronomer, planetary scientist, cosmologist, astrophysicist, astrobiologist and author. His full name is Carl Edward Sagan.
He has a great contribution to the research of extraterrestrial life. Apart from this, He produced amino acids by using basic chemicals along with radiation.

Carl Sagan was born on November 9, 1934 in Bensonhurst, New York. His father, Samuel Sagan was an immigrant garment worker and his mother, Rachel Molly Gruber was a housewife.
In 1939, when Sagan was four years old, his parents took him to the New York World’s Fair. Those exhibits had a profound effect on his life. It became the biggest turning point in his life.
